Fattoria Le Maestrelle has a ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is intense and complex, the notes of vanilla and coffee stand out well in harmony with the typical aromas of mint and cocoa of Merlot and the sensations of red fruit characteristic of Sangiovese and Syrah. On the palate it is balanced, tasty, soft and with a complex finish that recalls the olfactory notes.
VINIFICATION
The grapes were harvested at different times and vinified separately according to the variety. This process made it possible to carry out fermentation and maceration in a specific way for each grape variety, enhancing its aromatic characteristics and the softness of the tannins. The fermentation temperature never exceeded 25 ° C and the pumping over was carried out in a soft and delicate way.
The malolactic fermentation ended by the end of October, allowing the wine to begin its aging period, which took place partly in barrique and partly in stainless steel tanks.
