Castelforte Amarone della Valpolicella is a red wine with a rich taste. As a result of long, slow fermentation, the wine acquires a dark red color, a complex bouquet of cinnamon, cherry jam and walnuts, as well as the taste of ripe black cherry fruits with hints of vanilla and coffee in the aftertaste. It goes well with rich pasta dishes, game dishes, fried or stewed red meats and mature cheeses.
Mode of production
Until January, the grapes are dried in controlled warehouses on the hillside. Fermentation with traditional and continuous pumping. Aged in oak barrels for 24 months.
